Wow, this has been a busy bunch of months. Between the class for work and work itself added to regular life I find that there is little time to do much else. But let me tell about Sunday.....
I INTUBATED A 5 WEEK OLD BABY!
How absolutely, freaking awsome! I am a specialized nurse that has the possibility to do that occasionally, but this was the first time I have done it since my training for it YEARS ago. When I got the breathing tube into this sick baby and found it was good I did a wiggle dance as I held it in place before we secured it. It was also cool because the awsome doc that let me do it was standing next to me cheering me on. So I am still all wiggly. This made my poopy weekend worth it. I feel like a superhero....hehehehe.
The only artistic thing I really have been working on is a sweater. If it comes together right I will post the finished pic. If anyone cares. At least I will be warm.
Looking forward to a break in December. Friends will come up from Florida to hopefully see snow. The way things look Michigan will not disappoint. Snow is already in the forcast.
